Women on the Water
Get out on the water with all female sailors and learn the basics of sailing and enjoy the peacefulness of time on the water. This class is taught by women, for women!
Tuesday and Thursday, Sonar — Rec/Learn to Sail: Taught in 23′ Sonar Keelboats, 4 – 5 sailors per boat, along with an instructor. No experience required.
Curriculum includes understanding points of sail, and sailing upwind and downwind through discussion, diagrams, and participation
Our LMSS mission is to ignite a passion for the lifetime sport of sailing. This program supports and encourages women’s involvement in the sport. Whether you have campers in our program, you’ve always wanted to try sailing, or you are a seasoned sailor, you are welcome at LMSS.
